Baccarat is one of the easiest casino games to learn to play and can be enjoyed by everyone. You have three betting options in Baccarat. You can bet that the Player's hand will win, that the Banker's hand will win, or that both hands will tie.

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards and the object is to get a point count closest to 9. Each numbered card less than ten is worth its face value. Aces are worth 1, and tens and facecards are worth 0. The suit does not matter.

How to play

Baccarat begins when the cards are shuffled by the croupier and placed in a dealing device called a shoe. The dealer will draw 4 cards. The first and third cards are the PLAYER's hand and the second and fourth are the BANKER's hand. The Player's hand will be left face down and delivered to the player in the game with the highest bet on the player's hand. The Banker's hand will be left face down until the Player's hand is exposed, returned to the centre of the table and placed in the area designated as PLAYER.

The Banker's hand will then be given to the person with the highest bank and exposed and placed in the areas designated as BANKER. Once the initial cards are in place, the dealer announces the totals for each hand. If the point count for either hand is 8 or 9, it is called a NATURAL and no additional cards are drawn. If there is no natural, an additional card may be drawn to either or both hands. Other cards will be drawn according to a set of rules.

A maximum of one hit card per hand may be drawn. (The fixed rules of Baccarat never allow for a player to make a hit or stand decision). Once the outcome of the hand has been decided, the dealer will pick up all losing bets and pay winning bets.

If you win with a bet on the Player's hand, your bet will be paid even money. If you win with a bet on the Banker's hand, you will be charged a % commission on your winnings. If both hands TIE, neither hand wins or loses, and all bets made on the tie win. A tie bet is paid at 8 to 1 odds.
