The new Octavia has grown lengthwise, has more space in its interior for passengers in the back and a roomy luggage compartment, whose basic volume of 560 liters (580 l Combi) can be expanded by folding the rear seats up to incredible 1335 liters (1620 l Combi)! Its excellent driving properties have been improved still more, thanks to a new chassis with a modern front axle and new multi-functional rear axle.

The assortment of modern power units is bound to satisfy fans of both gasoline and Diesel engines, including fans of economical or sport-style driving. The palette features also true “delicatessen” – the 1.6 FSI/85 kW gasoline engine or the 2.0 TDI PD Diesel engine with an output of 103 kW and a revolutionary DSG transmission. The assortment is complemented with an economical 1.4 MPI/55 kW gasoline engine and a 1.9 TDI PD/77 kW turbo Diesel engine.

Even the standard version, Classic, has four airbags (front & side), the anti-lock ABS system, central locking, height-adjustable driver seat, and ISOFIX fixtures for a baby seat on the rear seats. With the Ambiente version, you can enjoy (in addition to the standard Classic equipment) electrically adjustable a heated exterior mirrors, a dashboard computer or stained-glass windows. The top version, Elegance, for example, features automatic air-conditioning system, Climatic, electrically-controlled window, both front and rear, fog lights, 15” Orion wheels of light-weight alloy, door-step lighting integrated in the exterior mirrors any many other elements.
